Let me tell you, I've had a truly terrible online shopping experience recently, and I feel compelled to share my story as a warning. Please be cautious when ordering from this company. I ordered my glasses on June 8th, and while I received an email on June 12th confirming they shipped, the tracking information provided is completely useless. When I click the link, it brings me to invalid shipping details located in Correos, Chile. I don't even know where my $218 glasses are at this point, especially since I paid expediting shipping fees to have them shipped faster! To make matters worse, when I call their customer service number, there is no option to speak to a live person – just endless prompts, and the call even hangs up automatically if you press keys outside of their options. I felt completely helpless and frustrated, which is why I finally managed to get through to a representative and am now sharing my experience.
Customer: I am calling about order number 12345, placed on June 8th. I received a shipping email, but the tracking link takes me to an invalid page. I paid extra for expedited shipping, and I have no idea where my glasses are. CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the difficulty you're having with your tracking information. Let me look up your order right away. Customer: It's just infuriating. I spent $218 and paid for fast shipping, and I can't even get a straight answer. Your phone system just hangs up on me! CS Rep: I completely empathize with how frustrating this must be, especially after paying for expedited service and experiencing issues with our phone system. It appears there was an integration error with the international tracking system. I'm immediately initiating a manual trace with the carrier to pinpoint your package's location and will follow up with you directly. Customer: So, I just have to wait even longer now? How long will this "manual trace" take? I need these glasses, and I paid for them to arrive quickly, not to be stuck in limbo! CS Rep: I assure you, I am escalating this. I will personally ensure you receive an update within the next 24 hours. If there's any significant delay or issue confirmed by the carrier, we will certainly process a full refund for your expedited shipping fee.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of vague tracking and frustrating customer service.
